SQUALANE+ is our take on a modern skincare essential—made with ultra-lightweight, plant-based squalane that’s perfectly suited for our humid, tropical climate. Unlike heavier formulations created for colder, drier environments, SQUALANE+ absorbs quickly, hydrates deeply, and leaves no greasy residue. It supports your skin barrier, softens texture, and restores balance—without clogging pores.

What makes it truly special is its versatility and simplicity: suitable for all skin types, even sensitive or acne-prone skin, and effective enough to be your one-and-done hydrator or a booster to your existing routine. It’s skincare that makes sense—gentle, effective, and made for real skin in real climates.

➊ Start with a clean face — cleanse and pat dry.

➋ Apply toner to prep your skin and enhance absorption.

➌ (Optional) Apply your favorite serum and/or moisturizer, depending on your routine and skin needs.

➍ Dispense 2–3 pumps of SQUALANE+ and gently massage into the skin using upward strokes, focusing on areas prone to fine lines, dryness, or uneven texture.

➎ Allow 1–2 minutes for the oil to fully absorb.

➏ Follow with sunscreen if used in the morning.

Note - SQUALANE+ is safe and beneficial for both day and night use. We recommend using it in the morning to help create a protective barrier that locks in moisture throughout the day, and again at night to support your skin’s natural repair process.

Our SQUALANE+ is made using high-purity, plant-derived squalane that’s carefully selected for its ultra-light texture and fast absorption—making it especially suitable for humid, tropical climates like ours. Some squalane products on the market are thicker or feel greasy because they’re blended with heavier oils or designed for colder, drier environments.

Yes, you can. SQUALANE+ acts as a semi-moisturizer—an emollient that helps seal in hydration and support your skin barrier. In humid climates like ours, where the skin tends to lose less moisture, this may be enough to keep your skin feeling soft, nourished, and balanced—without the heaviness of traditional creams.

That said, everyone’s skin is different. If your skin feels comfortable after using SQUALANE+ alone, you may not need anything more. But if you have dry skin, spend a lot of time in air-conditioned environments, or use drying actives (like exfoliants or retinoids), we recommend applying a hydrating serum or lightweight moisturizer first—then using SQUALANE+ to lock everything in.

So to answer your question — most oils aren’t actually bad for your skin. But many oils can clog your pores, especially if they’re too heavy or not suited for your skin type.

There are two main types of oils to know about:

Comedogenic oils are more likely to clog pores. They tend to sit on the skin, trap dirt and sebum, and can lead to blackheads or breakouts—especially in oily or acne-prone skin. Examples include coconut oil, wheat germ oil, and unrefined olive oil.

Non-comedogenic oils are the friendly, skin-compatible ones. They hydrate, nourish, and absorb well without blocking your pores. These include oils like squalane, grapeseed oil, hemp seed oil, and jojoba oil.

Note - Coconut oil is a great moisturizer and has antibacterial properties, so it can be wonderful for dry body skin. But on the face, especially in humid climates or acne-prone skin, it can clog pores—because it’s highly comedogenic. It’s sometimes not about “good or bad,” but about using the right oil in the right place.

We recommend using SQUALANE+ or any face oil you have towards the end of your regime, but before application of sun protection.

The difference lies in what’s added - each variant is enriched with specific plant-based actives for targeted support:

• SQUALANE+ Rose – Infused with Rose Essential Oil, it is best for dry, tired, or dull skin. Helps soothe, reduce redness, and boost skin radiance.
• SQUALANE+ Frankincense – Enhanced with Frankincense, it is ideal for mature or stressed skin. Supports skin regeneration, calms irritation, and improves tone.
• SQUALANE+ (AN) – Coupled with Bakuchiol + Frankincense, this is designed for early signs of aging. Helps smooth texture, soften fine lines, and support skin firmness.

Not necessarily. SQUALANE+ Frankincense offers deep hydration, barrier support, and rejuvenation—but serums still play a key role if you’re targeting specific concerns like pigmentation, acne, or deeper hydration.

Think of it this way:

Serums are high-performance, water-based treatments that absorb quickly and deliver active ingredients deep into the skin.

SQUALANE+ Frankincense is an oil-based hydrator that nourishes, locks in moisture, and supports skin firmness and calm.

If your skin is in good condition and you’re in your 30s, you might be able to skip serums for now. But if you’re seeing early signs of aging—like fine lines—it’s best to pair SQUALANE+ with an anti-aging serum to deliver more targeted actives into your skin.

And if you’re managing specific issues like uneven tone, breakouts, or sensitivity, adding a specialised serum will make your routine more effective.
