Upcycled Re{me}dy Tote Bag X BUNGKUS

In collaboration with BUNGKUS, a group of designers, artists and recyclers are transforming soft plastic waste into sustainable lifestyle pieces to transform Malaysia's plastic bag problem into different wearable pieces such as tote bags, carriers and other accessories.

Why did we bring it in ?
1) Empower low income communities to produce a circular income to create one-of-a-kind items that are sustainably crafted in every way.
2) Extend the life of all these plastic bags that would end up in landfills because they are difficult to process for large-scale recycling centers'.
3) Encourage consumer to purchase recycled items in order to SAVE energy/reduce pollution/reduce landfills/reduce use of limited resource)
4) Inspire a change in the way people think and act about plastic wastes.
