The Process
HOW WE MAKE IT?

SORT & DESIGN
COLLECTING, SORTING, MIX & MATCH
Though the raw material is free, we need to sort, seperate them and then put together the soft-plastic (LDPE) together to create our fabric.

MAKING THE MATERIAL
FUSING
Once we assembled our pieces of soft-plastic (LDPE) into a design we want, we use the heat-press to fuse our material together. We will fuse quite a few layers to create the raw material for making the product.

CUTTING INTO SHAPE
Cutting it up
Now we cut up the material(s) into the right shapes using paper patterns / moulds so that we can use them to make the product.

MAKING THE PRODUCT
MAKING THE PRODUCT
Now we assemble the pieces, put it together and make the final product.

We hope that through this workshop, we can educate people more about plastics and give an understanding on how plastics are being recycled, upcycled currently in Malaysia.
We also want to show you the process and how much work goes into making our upcycled soft-plastic products.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE OF PLASTIC?
Plastic is harmful to our planet because it does not biodegrade, causing long-lasting pollution in oceans and landfills. It endangers wildlife, contaminates water sources, and releases toxic chemicals as it breaks down. Reducing plastic use helps protect ecosystems and supports a healthier, more sustainable environment.
Upcycling workshops are good for the planet because they teach people how to creatively reuse and transform waste materials into valuable products. This reduces landfill waste, conserves natural resources, and encourages a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle. By promoting upcycling, we help build environmental awareness and inspire positive change.
