A GOOD SCALP HAIR TONIC
We’ve had a hair tonic for a while - A Good Hair Day- but after a visit to an ingredients exhibition, we learned about Redensyl and knew we needed to incorporate it into our next iteration of a hair tonic.
We love Redensyl because of its proven track record as it has clinical results to back it up. It is as good as minoxidil in multiple trials, but without the risk of irritation.
And even better, it is plant-derived and non-hormonal, produced through eco-conscious green chemistry. We added in more botanicals that have a proven record of soothing inflammation and being scalp-healthy such as ginseng, caffeine, and purslane extract to design an even better hair tonic.

Firstly, it is very different from our normal cleansers. For those who do not know, our intimates have a different pH to our other skin areas.
Our intimate area has a pH of 4.5, which is slightly more acidic than the rest of our skin which is at pH 5.5. There is a difference of 1. Even though the difference may be only 1, there are some of us that find our standard body wash (designed for pH 5.5) to be too harsh for our intimate area.
Also, 90% of what you find out there (especially in the pharmacies) are going to be highly synthetic. Feme is a much more natural, gentler alternative.
**Note - Although most of us are not really affected, but there seems to be more and more people that are experiencing this and turning to intimate cleansers for a less abrasive experience. We also highly recommend women who are having their periods / after pregnancy to use the product as ① Increased discharge & blood during period can alter the pH (blood is alkaline) ② After pregnancy, there usually is hormonal change which can make our intimate area thinner, drier and more sensitive.
A woman's intimate area is maintained by Lactobacilli. which produces lactic acid to create a protective acidic barrier against harmful bacteria, pathogens & yeast.
For men, the scrotal skin tends to be acidic (4.5 - 5) because the area is warmer which tends to encourage microbial growth. So to protect itself, the skin became a bit more acidic to prevent bacteria & fungi growth.
The rest of our skin is at pH 5.5.
The reason is simple - There is a microbiome living on your skin and this microbiome exist at that specific pH level (female intimate - 3.5-4.5, male scrotal - 4.5-5, normal skin - 5.5).
By using a pH designed cleanser that is close to your skin or intimate allows a more more gentle cleanse, maintains microbiome balance (friendly bacteria survive + harmful ones are controlled) which in turn create a stronger barrier to protect.
This does not just apply to intimates. Most common body cleansers are pH 7 - 10, hence they usually strip away everything on your skin and destroys your skin's microbiome, which is one of the reason why your skin can develop skin sensitivity.

① It is designed for our intimate areas (pH - 4.5) which has a slightly more acidic pH level from our normal skin (pH 5.5). This is to create a gentler cleanse without disrupting our intimates' microbiome.
② This product is designed in particular to cater for women (especially for menstrual cycles, post pregnancy) so we introduced a lot of herbal extracts that has been known to help with women's health in this intimate wash.
**Note - This does not mean the product is only suitable for women. As mentioned earlier, men's scrotal area (pH 4.5) is pretty similar in terms of pH level, so this product is perfect for men's intimate areas as well
① For children below 12, definitely no.
② For teen girls that has hit puberty (12+), intimate washes can be used during periods. For boys below 18 years of age, there is no need to use the product.
③ For pregnant ladies, we do not recommend to use as it contains Pueraria mirifica, which has phytoestrogen activity. It is a product which is designed more for post-pregnancy use to help rejuvenate.
