KUNYIT is the Malay word for turmeric. This soap reawakens the power of nature’s golden root, long used in traditional rituals to cleanse, brighten, and protect the skin. Formulated with turmeric, botanical oils, and a moisture-locking complex, KUNYIT gently purifies and helps reveal your skin’s natural radiance.
- RENEWAL- Turmeric, known in traditional Southeast Asian practices as “the golden healer,” helps invigorate tired, dull skin while promoting a natural glow. Its antioxidant properties help combat external stressors and support skin renewal.
- BALANCING - Turmeric powder and turmeric oil are prized for their purifying and anti-inflammatory properties. These botanicals help reduce the appearance of blemishes, even out skin tone, and promote a visibly clearer complexion.
- HYDRATION - Glycerin draws water into the skin, ensuring it stays soft, hydrated, and comfortable after cleansing. The cold-processed soap base also retains the natural moisture-preserving qualities of plant oils.

KUNYIT
KUNYIT is a turmeric-based bar soap formulated to support clearer, healthier-looking skin. It features turmeric as the key ingredient, known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help calm irritation, reduce visible blemishes, and promote a more even skin tone. The formula also includes a moisture-retaining complex with glycerin, olive oil, and vitamin E to hydrate the skin and strengthen its natural barrier. Kaffir lime essential oil provides a natural astringent effect, helping to tone the skin and refine texture.
KUNYIT is ideal for sensitive, dull, blemish-prone, or uneven skin, and is gentle enough for daily use.
For Body
➊ Use the bar (in *sisal bag / directly) on damp skin, Massage over the body in circular motions, then rinse thoroughly.
➋ Lather the soap between your hands or on a sponge until it foams, Apply the foam to your body, massage gently, then rinse off.
For Face
➊ Wet hands and lather the soap between your palms, Apply only the foam to your face (not the bar directly), Massage gently in circular motions, avoiding the eye area, Rinse well and pat dry.
Keep it dry between uses – Use a well-draining soap dish to prevent the bar from sitting in water. This helps it last longer and stay firm.
If using a sisal bag, hang it up to dry after use to avoid moisture buildup.
Store unused bars in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
DID YOU KNOW
When we started, all our soaps are limited edition?
We found out that in a soap factory often have much left over ingredients because they always buy excess for each production projects which they often don't utilise completely.
So whenever we needed soaps, we will raid that left over shelf and try to use these left over ingredients in our formulation. This lead to us having to have a new formulation every time.
We had to stop this because we had to streamline our workforce, and (believe it or not) producing soaps this way was too expensive (due to it being smaller volume which still takes an equivalent effort to making a big batch).

Yes, KUNYIT soap is designed to be suitable for sensitive skin. However, as with all skincare products, it’s important to perform a patch test before use, as individual skin sensitivities and allergies may vary. A patch test helps ensure your skin does not react adversely to any component in the formula.
Though we did not design KUNYIT in particular for pregnant women or kids, it is gentle enough to be used for pregnant women and kids (over age of 5).
However if you want to try and are uncertain, you can always consult a doctor before using.
No, we did not formulate KUNYIT for babies. It contains Kaffir Lime essential oil and the concentration used isn't recommended for babies.
KUNYIT does not contain synthetic fragrance. Its scent comes mostly from the essential oil used + the herbs, so it gives a citrus herbal aroma.
* Note - We did not design KUNYIT to smell great, we designed it with the intention to help reduce inflammation & help detoxify our body and bring vitality back to our skin. All the oils, herbs used are put in for its functions and not for its scent.
