Inspired by ancient Southeast Asian bathing rituals, YUÁN 圓 combines traditional botanicals like wild ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and vetiver with nourishing glutinous rice in a cold-processed soap.
EXFOLIATING SCRUB
- REVITALISING - Warming botanicals like ginger and cinnamon stimulate circulation, helping to energize dull, tired skin. Vetiver root adds a cooling, balancing counterpoint that helps calm sensitivity.
- HYDRATION - Glycerin draws water into the skin, ensuring it stays soft, hydrated, and comfortable after cleansing. The cold-processed soap base also retains the natural moisture-preserving qualities of plant oils.
- CLARIFYING -Wild ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon are prized in traditional remedies for their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Together, they help purify the skin, reduce congestion, and promote a clearer, more even skin tone.

YUÁN 圓 is inspired by traditional herbal baths and formulated to restore balance, clarity, and softness to the skin.
Grounded in centuries-old wisdom, this soap blends finely milled white and black glutinous rice with wild ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon to gently exfoliate, purify, and awaken the skin.
These warming botanicals are known to help stimulate blood circulation, which supports healthier skin tone, promotes natural detoxification, and brings vitality back to tired, sluggish skin.
Ideal for those with dull, congested, or fatigued skin, YUÁN 圓 leaves your skin glowing, smooth and revitalised.
For Body
➊ Use the bar (in *sisal bag / directly) on damp skin, Massage over the body in circular motions, then rinse thoroughly.
* For those who find the scrub too strong, please use it in a sisal bag or use it via method ➋
➋ Lather the soap between your hands or on a sponge until it foams, Apply the foam to your body, massage gently, then rinse off.
For Face
➊ Wet hands and lather the soap between your palms, Apply only the foam to your face (not the bar directly), Massage gently in circular motions, avoiding the eye area, Rinse well and pat dry.
Keep it dry between uses – Use a well-draining soap dish to prevent the bar from sitting in water. This helps it last longer and stay firm.
If using a sisal bag, hang it up to dry after use to avoid moisture buildup.
Store unused bars in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
DID YOU KNOW
When we started, all our soaps are limited edition?
We found out that in a soap factory often have much left over ingredients because they always buy excess for each production projects which they often don't utilise completely.
So whenever we needed soaps, we will raid that left over shelf and try to use these left over ingredients in our formulation. This lead to us having to have a new formulation every time.
We had to stop this because we had to streamline our workforce, and (believe it or not) producing soaps this way was too expensive (due to it being smaller volume which still takes an equivalent effort to making a big batch).

Please note that YUÁN 圓 is designed more for normal skin (not particularly to cater for sensitive skin), but YUÁN 圓 is generally suitable for mildly sensitive skin as most of the ingredients are natural and highly anti-inflammatory.
CONCERNS
The ingredients of concern are Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Turmeric & Ginger which are active botanicals with warming and stimulating effects, which can be mildly irritating. The soap is also exfoliating, so if you have sensitive skin, please use it's lather instead.
ROSACEA
We would not recommend YUÁN 圓 for Rosacea-prone skin due to its warming properties.
*Note - It is best to perform a patch test to determine if the product will be suitable (if you have sensitive skin or suffer from eczema)
We do not recommend YUÁN 圓 for pregnant women nor young children due to its warming botanicals and essential oils.
No, YUÁN 圓 is not recommended for babies. It will be too harsh for a baby's skin.
- ACTIVES AND OILS - The warming botanicals and oils may be too strong for a baby.
- EXFOLIATION - It can be too abrasive for a baby's delicate skin.
YUÁN 圓 does not contain synthetic fragrance. Its scent comes mostly from the essential oil used + the herbs, so it gives a earthy-spicy aroma.
* Note - We did not design YUÁN 圓 to smell great, we designed it with the intention to help improve blood circulation in our body and bring vitality back to our skin. All the oils, herbs used are put in for its functions and not for its scent.
