WHY WE STARTED MAKING SCENTS
It started with a simple need: we wanted natural wash products without synthetic fragrance—something 99% of local products still use. So we began crafting our own, using essential oils instead.
Along the way, we discovered the aromatherapeutic wonders of these oils. They didn’t just smell good—they were better for us. With the founder and his wife’s fussy noses and slightly obsessive standards, we kept refining our blends, and are now sourcing exotic oils not found in Malaysia to continue our pursuit of better scents.

Scent is subjective. Our founder and his wife can't stand synthetic perfumes. They will usually get a headache after being exposed to fragrance oils for too long.
- Synthetic Perfumes usually smell stronger & lasts longer than Natural ones. This is because they are engineered to be this way - to be more volatile, more stable, and more consistent.
Natural Aromatic components are made of smaller and lighter molecules which are more volatile. These natural components are not engineered for stability to last like man-made ones which have that property designed into the scent components.
There are several good reasons.
- Therapeutic Benefits - Unlike synthetic fragrances, natural aromatics have therapeutic properties that help us.
- Gentler + No Harmful Chemicals - Natural Aromatics are gentler on the skin because there are no other hidden chemicals [We have to declare all the plant extracts used, whereas if a synthetic perfume is used, its just labeled as "fragrance" or "parfum"]. Many of the synthetic scents out there are complex mixtures that usually include phthalates, synthetic musks that can be irritants, endocrine disruptors, or sensitizers (with repeated exposure)
- Biodegradable - Natural Aromatics are more biodegradable, renewable, and more sustainably sourced.
Yes, we do. We focus more on Aromatherapy and conduct basic introductory workshops to share the benefits of some key essential oils + how to use them practically to help us in our daily lives.
However we do not dwell much into Natural Perfumery. There are complex courses you can take, but truthfully scent is personal and everyone has different preferences.
It all depends on the ingredients. Let's say, even if someone carries the same essential oil, it may and probably will smell very different - where does the ingredient come from, how was the harvest, how fresh are they?
That is why we practice small-batch manufacturing, allowing us to carefully search for the best oils and also ensuring that they remain fresh, so their scent is potent and pleasant.
